Hair Cut Services
New client appointments are designed for me to really get to know your hair these appointment last about an hour and a half and expect to learn a lot about your curls. With all of my curly cuts everyone must come in with freshly styled hair either day 1 or day 2 using your usual products and drying techniques. I have a wonderful low tox brand of products in the salon so if products are what you are looking for I will have them in stock for you to get before you leave. Every curly cut is custom so I will choose what method I use to cut depending on your curl. My favorite is the curl by curl technique but it it is custom to your hair. The day you come in make sure your hair was detangled really well when you washed and make sure you don't use and pins or pony tails after your hair has been styled. Seeing your hair styled gives me a great idea on what can help you with your get the best out of your curls.
Curly cut with restyle
After the initial new client appointment clients can book either a curly cut with restyle or an express cut. I require my clients to come in with there hair freshly styled either day 1 or 2 hair making sure to fully detangle before styling. Please do not use pins or pony tails before coming in. We will cut your curls custom to you and with this cut we will take you to the shampoo bowl and restyle your curls, like the new client appointment but it usually takes about an hour since I already know your curls and you have a better understanding of your curls also. Reasons I recommend the restyle is If we are taking off a lot of length, if you are still having issues with your styling technique or we want to see another technique for styling.
Express cuts
These are my clients favorites they are quick usually about 30 min long and do not involved any shampoo or dry time. With all my curly cuts you are expected to come in with your hair freshly styled. I request day 1 or day 2 hair so I can see your curl pattern at its finest so no ponys or pins. Make sure to detangle fully before you come and please make sure your hair is fully dry before you come in
